POWER-SHARING IN ZIMBABWE
At last Zimbabweans can look forward to a brighter future, we all hope. An agreemet has been signed for Tsvangirai to be the Prime Minister. While this may have broken the stalemate, we all hope that it will hold.
Mugaber has a reputation for not respecting and deals. He is still President and will want to continue clinging to power. And there are too many people in Government relying on him to continue enjoying the perks they have enjoyed, even as they plundered the country.
Thousand have died due to Cholera, adisease that is curable and preventable. Many more are refugees in neighbouring countries. Yet others in Zumbabwe are dying of hunger. The economy is in shambles and the currency is useless.
It is the sincere hope of all Africans, that this will mark the end of the decline of Zimbabwe. And certainly, this must mark the end of power-sharing deals in Africa.
